Client Wellbeing
Why we measure client wellbeing, not just efficiency metrics
June 29, 2026 · 4 min read

It's easy to optimize for a number: tickets closed, minutes saved, throughput per hour. It's harder, and more important, to ask whether the people doing the work actually feel the relief that number implies.
We've seen automation projects hit every target on a report while quietly pushing more edge cases and exceptions onto already-stretched staff. That's not a win, even if the dashboard says otherwise.
So alongside the operational metrics, we check in directly with the team using the new system. Did the handoffs get simpler? Did the exceptions get easier to resolve, or just easier to ignore? Does the team trust the system enough to rely on it under pressure?
Client wellbeing is one of our founding standards, not a soft add-on. A solution that saves time on paper but adds stress in practice hasn't solved the real problem yet.
